OPERA AS A COLLABORATIVE, INTEGRATED, COHESIVE, AND FULFILLING ART FORM

With a wide range of experience in many of the various elements that constitute the operatic genre, I strive to create an atmosphere of open communication and collaboration between all of the artists involved in an operatic production, giving as equal a focus to the rehearsal process as to the final product or performance.

I believe that the role of the director is to foster the unique talents of every person involved in the production, so that together we can achieve a greater sense of investment and ownership in the artistic process, creating something unique from our combined talents, knowledge, and experience that none of us would have been able to achieve alone.
